Patricia L. Liberty M. Div. is Executive Director of Associates in Education and Prevention in Pastoral Practice (AEPPP).  She is an ordained United Church of Christ minister with 20 years experience and is co-founder of AEPPP.  She has led the INS retreat since 1993.  Rev. Liberty was trained by the Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence in 1991.  Prior to her work with AEPPP, she served as a local church pastor and a hospice chaplain.

PROGRAM CONSULTANTS

Nancy Myer Hopkins, M.S., is an Episcopal Laywoman and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Maine.  A nationally known educator and consultant in congregational and clergy family wellness, she is the co-editor of Restoring the Soul of a Church:  Healing Congregations Wounded by Clergy Sexual Misconduct.  Ms. Hopkins collaborates with AEPPP in assisting congregations.

 

Deborah J. Pope-Lance, M. Div. S.T.M. is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Sudbury and Boston, Massachusetts.  She provides programs and consultation services for congregations and clergy affected by ethical violations.      Ms. Pope-Lance collaborates with AEPPP in After Pastor education and support

 

Dr. Bill Sapp is an ordained Baptist minister and marriage and family therapist.  He is a fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a clinical member and Approved Supervisor in the Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  Dr. Sapp is currently the director of a program composed of twenty two counseling centers located in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  He received training from the Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence n 1991 and has worked with them in education and prevention.  Dr. Sapp collaborates with AEPPP as a co-facilitator for the Is Nothing Sacred? Couples Retreat
